One system behind a day when everything has to go right.
For Obstacle Run Etten-Leur I built the website, the sign-up system and a dashboard for the organisers. It all works as one, so participants and organisers are always looking at the same information.

In short
- Website, sign-ups and dashboard in one connected system.
- The organisers see who’s taking part in a single overview.
- Built around how the preparations and the day itself really go.
The challenge
An obstacle run lasts a day. The preparations take months.
Participants want to know when they start and what to expect. The organisers need to manage numbers, waves and sign-ups. The closer the day gets, the more has to fall into place at once.
Separate forms and files work at first. But once information lives in several places, keeping track takes longer and nobody is quite sure which details are correct.
What I built
Three parts that work together, so every sign-up goes from participant to organisers and lands in one place.
The website
The public home for course information, start times, sponsors and ticket sales.
The event system
The engine behind the sign-ups: it processes and stores who’s taking part and in which wave. One source instead of scattered lists.
The operator dashboard
The overview for the organisers. This is where the team sees the latest sign-ups, and everyone looks at the same numbers.

What it changed
The website, the sign-ups and the dashboard now work as one. What a participant fills in reaches the organisers straight away, right where they need it.
Before
- Separate forms and files.
- Information spread across different lists.
- Time lost hunting for the latest version.
Now
- One system for every sign-up.
- Everyone works from the same up-to-date information.
- A clear view of who’s taking part at any moment.
